FAQ's

Will CBD make me feel “high”?

Pure Broad Spectrum CBD Oil is a non-psychoactive compound. Hence, it produces no “high” feeling. These are called Broad Spectrum Oils (BSO's). However, please note that there are MANY different CBD products on the market and with little regulation, consumers may find or purchase CBD products that are labeled CBD but often could just be a Hemp protein, with no CBD content whatsoever and therefore you will NOT benefit from any of the CBD properties you may be seeking.

Additionally, there are numerous synthetic CBD products being sold, mostly an influx from foreign sources AND there are numerous CBD products that have "active cannabinoids" or THC in them, primarily what is referred to as a Full Spectrum Oil (FSO). The FSO products do have some level of THC in them and depending on your sensitivity and the amount one might consume, then there could be some unwanted impacts to your system in reaction to this type of stimulation. Please be cautious in your selection of any CBD product and take the time to learn more and understand the differences in these products.

Will I pass a drug test?

Our website will only carry products that have taken the extra steps to remove any residual THC from the final product. As such, the products offered on our website are truly considered THC free, with NO DETECTABLE THC. All of the vendors we represent, only formulate and distribute Broad Spectrum Oils, as we do not accept or represent any products from suppliers that might have any cross-contamination issues. Why? Because cross-contamination can occur at any time - i.e., the production run of one product may overlap through human error, and force a cross contamination event at any point in the manufacturing or production line. We are not legally able to make any recommendations or guarantees regarding drug tests on our THC-free products nor do we have any information regarding any Full-Spectrum products. However, FSO's do have some level of THC in them. Our website does not endorse or sale any of those products. If you have any concerns about drug testing, we would recommend talking to your health care professional, NOT consuming any CBD products and/or doing some additional research before deciding to consume any CBD products.

What if I take prescriptions? Will this have an effect?

Always consult your health care physician before use. Nearly all medications end up in your liver, so CBD can either enhance or diminish other drug compounds. Any drug that states you should avoid grapefruit or other juices, should be discussed with your physician or pharmacists. This does not mean that you can't consume CBD as it does work naturally with your endocannabinoid system (ECS), but it may mean that you must declare and potentially be monitored to see how your body or your prescription medication interacts with the CBD. This is especially true if you are using a blood thinning agent. Ultimately, your dosage levels of any medications may need adjustments. Please speak to your health care provider before starting a regimen of CBD.

Are there any known side effects?

Some people may experience light drowsiness, however, If this is your case, please take your dose before bed until your body adjusts. If you are very sensitive to oils, be aware of the amount of liquid you take. Splitting your dose up to smaller amounts could be an option for you. We urge you to speak to your doctor or pharmacist for additional guidance in this area.

Could I take too much?

Person-to-person dosages will vary. Some may only need a minimal dose while others may require a much higher dose. There are no reports of lethal or deadly doses of CBD. In the Government’s (NIH) patent on cannabinoids, they administered 700mg of CBD daily and noted no toxicity levels or side effects.

Do I need a prescription for these products?

No, everything we carry requires no prescription and is derived from USDA approved Industrial Hemp, Broad Spectrum CBD products. Currently all CBD products fall under the Federal Farm Bill Act of 2014 and 2018. All of our products are "federally" legal in all 50 states, however be advised that each state has different regulations and laws that are constantly being revised especially in light of the popularity of CBD today. What are cannabinoids?

Cannabinoids are compounds that are found in the industrial hemp plant, but the human body and other plants can also produce them. These compounds are key players in normal immune and nervous system functioning.

Are your products Lab Tested?

Yes, they are. Not only do the brands we work with lab test their raw products in-house, but they also provide independent third-party laboratory tests for all of the products we carry. It is our opinion, that you should ONLY purchase CBD products that have this level of scrutiny and testing to ensure you know what is in each product you consume or use. There are many products that have no testing and some originate from foreign sources or contain synthetic compounds to create a "lab created" version of CBD. We would not recommend any of these products for consumption. Also, when looking for lab results, you may find a one page document posted on a website for every product under the purview of that vendor for the products that they market or sell. That is not a worthy representation of test results in our opinion. EACH product we sell has a QRC code so that you as a consumer, may review the results of the CBD product you have in your hand. Your batch run results for EACH and EVERY product line. EACH batch has it's own independent 3rd party test result that you can obtain online and review. Many of these results are 5-7 pages in length per product. There is a difference and if you are concerned about what "could be" in your product, it is best to see these results. The Lab results test for mold, mildew, bacteria, fungus, heavy metals, pesticides and solvents along with many other potential contaminants. If your test results do not show this level of scrutiny, then you may want to rethink about your current CBD product selection, if you have not been purchasing products from us. You, your family or your pets, are the ones who will be consuming these products. Be cautious in your choices. Don't let price be your ONLY determining factor. BUY quality, it matters.

When will my package ship?

Generally, packages ship 24-48 hrs after your payment is processed. We use USPS 1st Class and USPS Priority mail, depending on the size of your order, along with a Signatory Service for our mailing process, which normally takes 2-4 business days to arrive at your location. If you are local or regional, you may receive your package sooner than that, typically 1-2 business days. Once your order has been processed, you will receive a USPS tracking number in your email to help you determine the postal service projected delivery date of your order. Please ensure someone over the age of 18 is able to sign for the products delivered to your address. COVID-19 SHIPPING NOTICE - Rest assured that we care about you and your health. EACH product and package will be ionized and sanitized via a UV-C light to minimize any risks to you. We do recommend following CDC guidelines on receiving any packages in the mail.

Where do you ship?

Technically, while the Farm Bill made CBD legal in all 50 states, we currently DO NOT ship to ID, NE and SD. We are awaiting more favorable state enacted legislation. ALSO, we do not ship outside of the US and our Terms and Conditions state that you are declaring you are over the legal age of 18 in order to make a purchase.

How long does it take to feel the effects of CBD?

Effects can usually take up to 30 minutes depending on dosage and the delivery method. CBD is not going to produce a “feeling” or a “high,” so you will only know it’s working when you experience a significant decrease in symptoms; you could notice a sense of wellness and relaxation, however for long term issues, be patient. You most likely did not have an issue overnight, so it may also take some time to feel the effects of CBD to help bring you comfort and relief. Some of the Muscle & Joint Relief Creams or Heat Relief Creams can have a much quicker and noticeable effect. Often, individuals report feeling a difference in their joints within the first few minutes. It is typically reported that these comfort sensations could last anywhere from 4-6 hours. Remember that results can vary and are dependent on the dosage and your purpose for using CBD. Using CBD daily helps it to build in your ECS system and become more effective.

What is the proper way to store CBD products?

We suggest that you always keep the products out of direct sunlight. Store them somewhere dry, cool, and out of excessive heat or light.

Do these products need to be refrigerated?

Even though keeping your oil refrigerated could prolong the shelf life, it is not necessary.

Is there an expiration date for products?

We suggest using all products within two years if stored properly.

Can I return a product?

We only accept returns if your item is sealed in the original packaging, with the receipt and within 30 days of original purchase. Any shipping costs will not be refunded.

The CBD is the same. However, the concentrations and other ingredients aside from CBD are different. Green Roads pet formulas are blended with MCT oil, which is easy for your pet to digest. The pet formulas have CBD concentrations that are more appropriate to the size of your pet’s body.

Can I give my pet human CBD oil?

We recommend using every product for its intended purpose. The concentrations in the Green Roads line of pet formulas are more appropriate for pets.

Is CBD intoxicating to my pet?

No. CBD will not intoxicate your pet. THC, not CBD, is the intoxicating compound in hemp and marijuana that produces a high. All Green Roads products have less than 0.0mg THC.

Is there an age limit for pets when it comes to taking CBD?

This product is recommended for pets over 12 weeks old.

Why should I give my pet CBD?
